A "vertigo" inspired quilt

I was involved in a movie themed craft swap and my partner had chosen Hitchcock's Vertigo as one of her favourite films. After much considerations this is what I came up with. It measures 1.50m square. The circle is appliqueed on a black base

The back is made of dizzying stripes... And finally it is machine quilted following the white arc to give it a spiral effect.

A quilt for my mum

This is a quilt I made for my mum to tie in with her purplish blue flowers on her bedroom walls

It is tied and measures 180* 190cm. it is alternate four patch and one patch and backed with flannel for extra cosiness.
