first proper quilt top

This is supposed to be a present for my dad. Unfortunately it is quite wonky as my blocks are probably smaller than I should have made them. By the way those are called "bright hopes" and "roman square" I think. Now "all" I've got left to do is the quilting :-)

The goose is getting fat...

I don't even think it is born yet to be honest but as I'm a very sloooooooooow worker I started this project early Now I just need to make the 24 trinkets to go in it ... and start all over again for my other little boy. (mind you if I go fast enough I might even manage one for my niece?)

Children crafting anyone?

So there I was setting everything up to do some nice crafting with the kids...by the time I'd put all the necessary stuff on the table they'd vanished. So I did it all by myself and had great fun doing so .
Here are my little gigis...

Now I only have 321 odd socks left...

Boat curtains

I needed to make Francis' bedroom darker due to the fact that he isn't sleeping much "because it's not night-time yet, mummy" (don't we adore the little angels!) So here it is the hand made blind to cover the 3 sided undereave window .

The boats are machine appliqueed on denim using some fabrics matching the pirate quilt I had just done.

What you do for one ....Here in a nautical theme

Ben 10 quilt

My son has a thing for Ben 10 at the moment so when I asked him what he wanted for a bedspread guess what it was????? All the figures are hand embroidered then machine appliqueed

XLR8

Heatblast

Greymatter

Four Arms

I got fed up after that and the reamining 6 are a lot harder to draw so poor little Ivon has to live with only 4 aliens...

Kids costumes

Here are some of the costumes I made for the "Peter Pan" show for which my hubby composed the music. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the back of the crocodile complete with tail and all or of the gorgeous leafy costume I made for the lead (kid used his sister's grrrrrrr)
And I didn't choose the tights colours either....
